Will Shortz does it again! Nov 01, 2007
By puzzlemaven I must say, this is the best sudoku book I've had yet, and I've had all kinds. It's like a writing paper tablet, and you tear the pages out after you've done the puzzle. They are all printed on one side with the solutions on the back. So easy after the tiring hold the book open experiences! Highly recommended along with his Little Black Book of Sudoku, spiral bound. Great paper, too! Works well with gel pens. Please get these books, you won't be disappointed!

Will Shortz Presents The Little Flip Book of Sudoku Apr 19, 2009
By Maxine S. Goad These are excellent Sudokus ranging from easy to difficult. But the thing that makes this Little Flip Book outstanding is that it is easy to hold while lying down. I have been ill, and this feature is important to me.

By Leslie Stewart Great format for a sudoku book. I gave it to a friend who complained that other sudoku books were difficult to hold open and hard to write in.

Disappointed Mar 26, 2010
By JS This book has a good assortment of puzzles ranging from "Light and Easy" to "Beware - Very Challenging". I do not like the set up of the book. It opens like a normal book and then you flip the pages back over the top to work the level of puzzle you want to solve. It seems like the cover should flip back in the same direction as the puzzle pages. I find it awkward to work a puzzle comfortably.

Solution shows through on puzzle page May 07, 2010
By testmaster This sudoku book is unacceptable to me since 1/3 of the solution shows through on the puzzle page.
When working on a puzzle the solution for that puzzle's bottom 3 rows (1/3 of puzzle) is clearly visible (with reversed numbers), showing through from the backside of the too-thin page. This at least subconsciously gives the solver unintended clues, and I just find it greatly distracts my concentration to see reversed numbers above the puzzle.
This problem does not exist with (as just one example) Shortz's splendidly constructed book "The Little Luxe Book of Sudoku" which has all the solutions in the back.
Note also that this is not the book to get if you like to change-up between solving easy, medium, or hard puzzles. It is somewhat unwieldy to hold if not used as a "flip pad", going through in order from easy to medium to hard puzzles, and tearing off the top puzzle when you are done with it.
