Great, except Puzzle 2! Oct 14, 2006

There is a GLARING error in Puzzle 2! :) It can't be solved, and even the solution in the back is all wrong... some editor didn't give this one a lot of time because it's just so freakin' obvious! :) Anyway. I love any Sudoku variation book, so even with the error, it's still fun.

This was the first sudoku book I had that introduced me to some of the variants, and that makes it stand out as one of my favorites. Each of the puzzles in the book seem to have a unique personality to them, and the variants required me to come up with some new solving techniques.
There was an error in one of the easy puzzles, which was obvious to detect, but even so you get 99 really good puzzles for your money and the chance to try out some new kinds of sudoku puzzles.

Puzzle #100 (the World championship puzzle) is a disappointment. I completed it in an easy 12 minutes. However the many sudoku variants will be fun for the experienced puzzler. I did hope for something more challenging. The quality of the paper could be better.
