5Love this series  Jul 05, 2008
I love the New York Times Crosswords, and their series of spiral-bound collections are great for travel. Most paperback crossword books are difficult to keep open as you fill in the crosswords. These spiral-bound books, however, allow you to fold the book at the puzzle you're currently working on, and provide a relatively hard surface to write on as well. Plus, they are relatively slim, so they don't take up much space in a suitcase or carry-on bag. I recently purchased the New York Times little "black and white" crossword book - although the length and width are much smaller, the book itself is thicker, so overall it's bulkier and less convenient to carry. I'll stick with the larger spiral-bound versions.

5I am an Addict  Feb 13, 2008
I have been addicted to NY Times Sunday crosswords for years. This collection is no let-down. My only complaint? Not enough of them! I ordered the Omnibus collection with this: 500 puzzles! You can't go wrong with any of the NY Times crossword publications.
