Volume 28 of NYT Sunday Crossword Puzzles Feb 14, 2010 This was one of several Christmas gifts to my husband. He loves difficult/expert crossword puzzles and I had searched for years for a compilation of difficult puzzles as opposed to the easy and intermediate featured in puzzle magazines. He was very pleasantly surprised and I was glad to give him a gift that he wasn't expecting.
Good for lovers of NYT Sunday crosswords, good for memory? Jul 09, 2009 Any fan of New York Times crossword puzzles would enjoy this. Not for newcomers, though. And puzzlers who prefer hardest NYT puzzles might be disappointed. Rather a lot of the puzzles are out of my range, but that's partly because I'm out of practice - and I still enjoy the challenge. Thanks to this volume, I'm now getting lots of practice. Working crosswords is supposed to be good for one's memory. If so, this book must be *very* good.

Challenging Jun 22, 2009 This is great for keeping the old mind sharp and working. The puzzles are difficult but not impossible. Clues often not what they appear to be at first read so must keep the mind open to other interpretations. Fun!

NYT Sunday X-words Apr 19, 2009 These volumes of NYT's Sunday crossword puzzles, edited by Will Shortz are the best. The spiral bound format with a complete puzzle on each page is perfect. Delivery time from Amazon was slower than usual. Keep track of the volume numbers so you won't re-order the same one.
