5Monday Morning Brain Teasers (Clinton Era)  Nov 26, 2008
By K. Nishikawa
Consisting of the Times's Monday morning crosswords from November 29, 1993, to May 1, 1995, this slim book is great for the crossword puzzler on the go. The design is perfect for casual puzzlers: not as big as an omnibus collection, yet not so compact (like a mass-market paperback) so that your hand keeps slipping off the page.

A note about the puzzles: some of the clues may seem outdated, given that these were published in the mid-1990s. One puzzle's theme has clues featuring Clinton's White House cabinet. Overall, though, the clues are general enough to appeal to many folks, especially since these are (in theory) the Times's "easiest" crosswords.

2Harder than a regular Monday  May 23, 2011
By riverjoy
Now I have been doing Mondays for a while, and thought I might even be ready for Tuesday puzzles. But then I made the mistake of ordering this book. Pretty difficult. The clues and answers are just so obtuse. I'll try working through the whole book in hopes of actually getting somewhere, but not expecting much.

2Way harder than a Monday puzzle  Dec 12, 2011
By Robert Arnold "tt"
I can slay Monday puzzles, breeze through 95% of a Tuesday, and finish 2/3 of a Wednesday. These puzzles in this book usually stump me. These are more like Wednesday puzzles. I can't believe that Will Shortz edited this book.

I didn't expect this book to be almost 15+ years old. This may have been stated, but I guess I didn't read the fine print.
