3some good puzzles, some repeats  Nov 23, 2010
By jared
The book is bigger in size than the most other NY Times crossword books, and it has a lot of good puzzles in it ranging in difficulty from Monday through Wednesday. I was disappointed to find some repeat puzzles from other books (probably "C is for Crosswords" and "Cuddle Up with Crosswords" but I'm not sure). If you've done a lot of the other easy NY Times books, you might want to look elsewhere. Overall, I'm satisfied, but I need to skip some puzzles I recognize now and then.

4Easy Puzzles -- as advertised  Mar 06, 2010
By Blue Skies
As advertised, this book contains easy puzzles that a regular crossword-worker can breeze through. Because these are New York Times crosswords, there are clever clues to appreciate. It's good for those times you want to end up with the accomplishment of a finished puzzle fairly quickly. I like this book for travel when I need to kill some time but may be too frazzled to enjoy a harder crossword. The book itself is actually a little big for travel. It won't fit in a regular purse, but that hasn't stopped me from taking it along in my knapsack.

3Not for beginner  Sep 13, 2009
By chicagokathy
I love crossword puzzles but these from the Times are just too difficult to be the fun that was promised. I know the New York crosswords are a bit more challenging than most but they offered an easy way to spend vacation time. Baloney. I wouldn't buy this type of crossword puzzles again.

5The perfect "easy" crossword book  Jan 11, 2009
By Amy Cook
While I only like to do the Monday through Wednesday puzzles, these large books are perfect anytime. I gave them out with pencils for Christmas and was thanked many times later.
