Several significant typos, but still rewarding Mar 11, 2006
By Sheila Moore I've completed 26 books of this type (Acrostic, Acrostix, Crostic, Crostix ...), and in the others, typos were rare and insignificant -- they were in the clues. This book has several instances of mislabeled letters, a few cases where "(two words)" was missing, and one case where "(two words)" was on a one-word answer but missing from a nearby two-word answer. I was still able to solve the puzzles, however, and I enjoyed them.

High quality as always Mar 19, 2006
By Crochet Queen The NY Times acrostics are always challenging, which I love. If you are new to acrostics, or just want some that are a little more "mindless", then I suggest the Mensa acrostics book, they are much easier.

By Library Lady This is a nice collection. Some fairly easy and some that really challenge your imagination.
Pleased With Service Apr 30, 2012
By RE Item was well packed and was what I expected. Very pleased. Book arrived as planned and to the address requested with no hassles.
Kindle, please? Aug 30, 2011
By Sam Clemens I love these. But will someone PLEASE format some of these for my Kindle? I've tried the regular NYT crosswords on the Kindle, and they work very well. About as interactive as a Kindle gets. Or should get. Acrostics on Kindle seems like a no-brainer, because it would automate that annoying cross-entry (and the inevitable transcription errors I seem to make). Oh well.
