5I wanted another - so far it's the only one - boo.  Oct 11, 2006
By A. Poulin "Appreciates the Little Things"
I came to Amazon hoping to find this was a series of books - no such luck - so just like another reviewer, I may buy the same book again. The paper is excellent as one can erase and marks seem darker and easier to read. Those newspaper books get annoying for Sudoku figuring! The answers to each puzzle is right "on the flip side" so if you want to check a digit quickly, it's a piece of cake. Also real fun is the patterns that the author sets up - often as you solve, you'll see other patterns evolve - cool!

5My Favorite!  Oct 11, 2006
By jan manyfeathers
This is my favorite Sudoku book of all - and I have a bunch! The best part of this book is not just the hard cover, but the puzzles are large enough to make readable notes and erasable without creating dirty, smeared pages. The puzzles (not rated) are hard enough to be interesting yet easy enough to keep me from throwing the book in the trash out of frustration! I may even buy the book again just for the comfort of its size, layout and quality of paper. I mean, like who can remember a sudoku puzzle solution from a week ago? Not me! A great change from crosswords and logic puzzles.

5Easy to use  Oct 01, 2006
By J. Marren "jtm497"
This is a great format for a puzzle book (I gather there's a crossword one too.) It has large easy to read puzzles, lots of room for little notes, and is easy to erase. Doesn't rate the puzzles by degree of difficulty, though, which would be nice. But the puzzles are in interesting patterns, and some that look easy aren't at all--so maybe it's better not to have ratings, and be surprised. I'll buy the next one when it comes out.

5High quality, great book  Mar 01, 2009

This is the best sudoku book I've had! The one-puzzle-per-page format is great and I love having the solution on the flip side of the page. The book is bound at the top, like a tablet, to you just "flip" the page to check a number. High-quality binding and paper. I'll never go back to the cheap newsprint-style books. I wish there were more than two books in this series. Now I'm on the hunt for sudoku "flip" books!

4Sudoku at its best  Oct 14, 2008

As a sudoku fan I rate this compilation of puzzles as 5 stars. The pages are large with big numbers. The hardcover makes it convenient to hold in your lap if watching television. Pages can be torn off if you wish to just take a few puzzles with you. Highly recommended.
