This is a nice book for different explorations of Sudoku. Oct 28, 2009 Some of the puzzles are easy and some are harder. It was a nice guide for trying different styles of Soduku, and it was nice to try variations without having to buy a whole book of one style. This book is not for a beginner but it may be too easy for an experienced player.
Color Sodoku, Love it! Sep 06, 2009 Even-though this book is thick with chock full of sodoku I wish there were more puzzles. There are so many variations but only a few puzzles of each kind. Just as you are getting into solving one variant you run out.
I like to say something about the color. I have seen similar types of some of sodoku puzzles in other books without the coloring. Comparing the two the color just seems to enhance the solving experience. It helps you keep track and makes the whole thing more interesting. (There are also puzzle variations which would be impossible without color.)
I going to keep this book in mind for a gift for other sodoku lovers.
More sodoku books of this type just have to be published!!!
Really fun, repeatedly! Aug 31, 2009 I've bought this book multiple times -- it's a lot of fun, so I keep going back to it. Wish the publisher realized what a gold mine it has.
The Best So Far... Aug 30, 2009 I love this book. Lots of fun and challenging variations. Especially enjoy the Irregular Sudoku. I inquired with Barnes & Noble if publisher is putting out another book. I was told "they don't think so." Wish they would make a Variants II.
Fun little Sudoku book with lots of choices. Jun 25, 2009 Conceptis does the best job with Sudoku variants. 169 different puzzles in about a half dozen different variants from easy to challenging. Lots of fun, and printed on good paper so easy to erase your "guesses".
