This book has several great features:

* all the puzzles are above intermediate level

* the perforated-pages can be torn out to take along with you

* the little grid numbers help you keep track of your thought processes

I often am interrupted while doing a puzzle. Then when I have time to get back to it, I have forgotten some of my reasonings. I found myself making notations in the squares with other books, which makes the puzzle a mess! This book makes it easy to keep track as you eliminate possibilities for each square. Because you can blot out numbers as you eliminate them, getting back into the puzzle is a snap. You will become addicted to this method, I predict.

I left my book at a hotel last night, so I am buying 2 more. I love this format and don't want to be without pages again! I hope more volumes are published.

I love this Sudoku Mastermind Puzzles, it's my favorite of all the Sudoku puzzles I've ever played. Challenging, relaxing and fun, with answers in the back. These are challenging puzzles and it would be nearly impossible to solve without the help of the numbers in the block. Each block has a list of all the possible numbers and you use a process of elimination to solve the puzzle. I like to take a black permanent marker and block out the eliminated numbers. Then I continue to block out the numbers as I go - leaving only the possible ones - until I know for sure what the number is. These are not easy sudokus so I periodically check the answer page as I go to make sure I've not made a mistake along the way. I like to make sure I am continuing down the right path because its nearly impossible to go back when you're at the end and the numbers are off.
