poorly designed puzzles Aug 04, 2007
By Diane McKeever You might wonder how a sudoku puzzle can be poorly designed...the puzzles in this book violate at least two of the rules in good puzzle design. The first is that a well designed puzzle is symmetrical. You should be able to copy the puzzle and rotate it 180 degrees and the numbers should overlap. None of the puzzles in this book are designed that way. The second rule is that there should be only one correct answer. Many of the puzzles can be completed in multiple ways.
Two great things about the book are the spiral binding...and the main reason I selected it initially...and the small size. It fits in your purse so you have an activity with you all the time.

VIOLATED Dec 31, 2008
By Douglas Rinehart This "green 4" book should not be sold as a Sudoku puzzle. Nearly HALF of the puzzles are MULTIPLE SOLUTION. Sudoku is supposed to be ONE UNIQUE solution for each puzzle - this book violates that rule. I have to wonder who gave this book a 5-star rating .... SUMMARY: The book is very frustrating since it has ERRORS galore.

Handy! Jun 27, 2008

"Insane for sudoku"
I love Sudoku and I love this little book. It's small enough to fit into my purse and pop it out when I'm waiting for an appointment, during my kids' practices, whenever I have a few minutes to spare. Being spiral bound also makes it even more convenient and compact.

The Other Single Review Doesn't Know Sudoku Apr 30, 2008

"2b2"
This Sudoku book is designed as well as any other Sudoku book I've seen, in terms of puzzle design. Any numerical puzzle can be solved in more than one way if the revealed numbers are few enough.
Try this puzzle. Write your review. I doubt you'll be disappointed.
Sudoku for the person on the go! Apr 02, 2011
By BichonMaxMom This book is so great for the person on the go. You can keep it in your pocket, your purse, or your car for easy access. My only regret is that I can't find them anymore. I would do them over and over again if I could still buy them. I travel a lot and have done them in the car from MI to GA. They help make the time on the road go by quickly.
