The best Sudoku game around, because you can make notes on it, which is of course, impossible on an electric game. You can carry your pencil (and sharpen it) and spare games with you. I carry it everywhere...

I bought this for my grandmother for her birthday, as she loves doing the daily sudoku in the newspaper. I am sure that this will create hours of fun for her! It was a great buy for the price, and I should have gotten a couple more to save as gifts or use in the car during long trips. These puzzles are very addictive. Great buy!

It is amazing for sudoku-lovers! It has a little drawer in the side of it with a pencil sharpener. You can store other sudoku companion scrolls in the drawer. Be careful when you erase. The little eraser parts don't just wipe off with the swoosh of your hand, there's a ridge on the outer edges so the eraser pieces just clump together at the bottom. When you open it up (it opens like a door) you can tip it over a trash can and dump out all the little eraser pieces. THe door is for changing the scrolls. THere are new puzzles on every scroll. The scrolls are double-sided. There is a little wheel on the top and bottom so you can do more puzzles. Answers are available after every 2 puzzles. There are 5 levels of sudoku in the scrolls. From easiest to hardest: beginner, easy, medium, challenging, and extreme. The numbers are a little small, but easy enough to see without a magnifying glass. I learned how to play sudoku right when i got this. There are no directions included on how to play sudoku. It's fun, but it's a little bulky. It's hard to fit in small places. If you put it on a bookshelf, it will fall because the bottom (and top) is curved. I use it for a month and then stop for a few months and then find it again and go on a sudoku streak. It's great for people of all ages!
