Everyone loves a puzzle;and there's something here for everyone. Dec 18, 2009
This is a rather small book of only 122 pages;but it has 100 inovative brainteasers.It is written by David Bodycombe who started inventing puzzles and games at the age of 16.He has made up thousands of puzzles over the years and his many books of puzzles have entertained thousands of puzzle enthusiasts.
Though there is a wide variety in the puzzles presented;they have one thing in common--there is a picture,diagram,optical illusion, trope l'oeil,to accompy each puzzle;thus the title Optical Illusions & Picture Puzzles.At the back of the book you will find answers to all the puzzles and with varying amounts of detail as to how the solutions can be found.The book is of excellent quality with durable construction,high quality, glossy paper,printing, illustrations and all in color.
It will provide many hours of enjoyment.Some of the puzzles are quite difficult,some are easy,some are diabolical,and some are misleadingly simple.But,all will make you put on your "thinking cap"
