disappointed Apr 08, 2008
By Midas' Mom The puzzles are not very difficult for an experienced solver. I do not need any pencil marks and I finish them within 20 minutes.
Not Overly Difficult Jul 24, 2011
By popmusicfan Wayne Gould's New York Post Su Doku Spicy collections, unlike some of his other books, is focused on what he labels as "Difficult" and "Fiendish" puzzles. One of the challenges in buying Su Doku books is that there is absolutely no standardization of difficulty levels. The easiest puzzles in this collection clearly are harder than the "Easy" and "Mild" puzzles in his other collections, but overall they are not the most challenging Su Doku puzzles available. I give this book 4 stars because the puzzles that Gould has assembled in this book are perfect little diversions, which is what I like in Su Doku puzzles. One suggestion, though: do some looking around--I found this book in a remainder bookstore a few years ago for $2.98.
