If you want challenge, this is it. Dec 24, 2007
By Yukinko When I bought this "Extreme Sudoku" I loved it so much, I finished quickly and bought another one. The 16 x 16 is challenging and fun, and I love the quality of the paper, white and smooth in texture so it's easy to write and erase.

Extreme Sudoku Sep 12, 2009
By Terri D. Richard
""haven celestia""
This book of Extreme Sudoku puzzles has become my favorite. As evidence of my opinion, I have ordered it twice. When I began to look for Sudoku that was a bit more challenging than the books in our checkout lines and in department stores, I hunted online and found this one. It is my favorite because it has the nine-box puzzles to warm you up and the sixteen-box puzzles to challenge and entertain. I enjoy this passtime as it helps to keep my mind sharper, and let's face it, don't we all need that? If you want something that forces you to think not only of what an answer will be, but what it can't be, you will enjoy this.

Not so super sudoku Dec 09, 2009
By M. Spies I started at the back of the book looking for the most difficult 16 x 16 puzzles that I prefer--and these were the only reason I bought the book. I worked a couple of the 16 x 16 and found them typically tedius and not at all challenging. The book is now in a pile of them that will sit unworked. The book is self-labeled "extreme" and maybe the 9 x9 puzzles would qualify for that label.
